NAZCARE, Inc. supportive housing offers a variety of quality housing and wrap-around recovery support services and life skills that are responsive to tenant needs, preferences and lifestyles, as well as their overall integration into the community. Supportive housing combines affordable housing and recovery support services as a cost-effective way to help adults live more stable, productive lives. Supportive housing works well for adults facing challenges.
Issues may include: Mental health disorders, substance use, addiction, or other serious challenges to a successful life. Supportive Housing is coupled with recovery support services, job training, life skills training, alcohol and SMART recovery. Supportive housing is intended to be a successful solution that helps adults recover and succeed while reducing the overall cost of care. NAZCARE, Inc. has housing in Yavapai and Mohave Counties in Northern Arizona. These private housing programs wrap recovery services around people with Peer Support, Support Groups, In-Home Living Skills, Life Skills and Job Readiness Program. We work to build a network of support and create an environment of success for all individuals to move in a positive direction on the Pathway to Recovery. We place housing first!

Hope House is a community-based transitional model house. It has 8 single person units. Each unit has a bathroom, bedroom and a small living room. Each resident can then enjoy the comfort and privacy of his or her own unit. Residences share a common kitchen, a common community room and a common laun-dry room to build Life Skills to cooperate and interact with others. Residents learn valuable Life Skills from personal and financial to social skills using a best practice Life Skills curriculum developed by Roberta L. Howard. Residents are involved in recovery support services plans at New Hope Recovery Center, which sits in front of Hope House on the same property.This community-based approach allows for wrapping recovery and support services around tenants. This formula spells success.

Majesty Manor is a community-based, permanent model living facility. It has 10 efficiency units. Each resident then has the option to enjoy comfort and privacy of their own unit. Residences share a common grounds and community laundry room to build Life Skills and a support system. Residents learn valuable Life Skills; from personal, financial to social skills using a best practice Life Skills curriculum developed by Roberta L. Howard. Residents are involved in recovery support services at Majesty Manor. This community-based approach allows for wrapping recovery and support services around tenants. This formula spells success.

Next Steps also provides permanent housing, in a campus-community style setting. Residents in permanent housing also have recovery and support services wrapped into their housing program. This private residential, supportive housing offers affordable housing in a community of support. Residents learn to become good neighbors, citizens and participate in community activities. Families are supported and community networks of support are built. Residents learn how to operate as a recovery community, in support of each other and the entire community.

NAZCARE has a contract with the Veterans Affairs Administration for a Veteran Homeless Program in Kingman, AZ. This ninety day program provides Coordination of Care between the Veterans Affairs Administration and NAZCARE. The VA provides a Social Worker and a Peer Support Specialist to navigate the VA system and provide benefits and resources. NAZCARE provides recovery support services, shelter, meals and meaningful recovery and life skills activities. This unique program has 97% success rate in permanent housing placement and 81% sustainability after 6 months.
